Affiliate Disclosure

How we make money — and why it doesn't change which products win our reviews.

The Paw Verdict is reader-supported. Some of the links on our site are affiliate links, which means that if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Prices, shipping options, and availability are exactly the same as if you visited the retailer directly.

Editorial independence

Affiliate revenue keeps the lights on. It does not influence which products we recommend. Our picks are chosen by writers and editors after independent, hands-on testing with real dogs. Brands cannot pay to be included in a review, cannot review drafts before publication, and cannot change a rating after the fact. When a product wins a slot on our list, it's because it earned it.

Who we partner with

We currently participate in affiliate programs with retailers including Bullymake, Chewy, BarkBox, Amazon, and PetSmart, among others. We add or remove partners as our coverage changes, and we link to non-affiliate retailers whenever they offer a better price, broader stock, or a more reader-friendly return policy.

How to spot an affiliate link

Outbound retailer links on our review pages are typically affiliate links. Where we link to a brand's homepage or product page from a sponsored block, we mark the link with rel="sponsored" so search engines and assistive tech can identify them clearly.

Questions
